These terms govern your use of the Shoop iOS application and shoop.shop (together, "Shoop"), operated by Shoop LLC ("we," "us").

1. What Shoop is
Shoop is a personal shopping studio: a private space to save, organize, and make decisions about products you discover. Shoop is not a retailer. All purchases happen on third-party retailer sites under their terms, prices, and policies.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your region). You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is permanent.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you save and create in Shoop — saves, notes, Sets, Styles, uploaded images. You grant us the limited license needed to store, display, and process that content solely to operate Shoop for you (for example, sending an uploaded screenshot to an image-recognition service you invoked). We claim no other rights in your content.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or that you don't have permission to use.
4. Third-party retailers and affiliate links
Product information in Shoop (prices, availability, images) is retrieved from retailer pages and may be outdated or inaccurate — always confirm on the retailer's site before purchasing. Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy after tapping through from Shoop, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. We are not a party to your transaction with any retailer and are not responsible for their products, fulfillment, or policies.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt Shoop's services, access other users' data, reverse-engineer the app beyond what law permits, scrape our services, or use Shoop for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
Shoop's name, logo, design, and software are our property. Product images and brand names displayed in your studio belong to their respective owners and are displayed for your personal, non-commercial reference.
7. Disclaimers
Shoop is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that saved product data, price comparisons, or image search results are accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Shoop. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 — Shoop is free).
9. Termination
You can stop using Shoop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kings County, New York.
